Agencies
Creative workloads, large files, remote work. IT that does not stand between you and the deadline.
So arbeiten wir mit Agencies.
Vier Punkte, die wir bei Agencies immer in den Vordergrund stellen.
In practice that means.

Agencies - im Detail.
Agency IT at CAVORT
Agency teams work hybrid, with large files, tight deadlines and a pile of different client environments. IT has to keep up, not slow things down.
Our standard setup
- Central storage - NAS or cloud storage with version history
- Remote workflow - straight from the cloud, Parsec-based or local sync, depending on the use case
- Client management - MDM for Macs (Jamf or Mosyle) and PCs (Intune)
- Network - a 10-gigabit backbone in the office, redundant internet connectivity
- Adobe and creative tools - central licence management, billing per project
- Communication - Slack or Teams, cleanly integrated into the whole workflow
- Security - full-disk encryption, MFA, backup (including the client archive)
What is specific to agencies
- Client confidentiality - we build permissions so teams only see their live projects
- Freelancer integration - external staff with time-limited access
- Elasticity - storage grows quickly on big projects, and we scale with it
- Archive concept - completed projects move to affordable cold storage
What we are particularly good at
We are a digital agency ourselves (that also happens to be an IT provider) - so we understand the difference between an “IT problem” and a “creative problem”. That makes support efficient.
How we work together.
From the first hello to running operations in five steps.

Agencies - frequently asked.
FAQ.01What do we need for fast shared storage?
For video and 3D, a 10-gigabit network with NAS (Synology, TrueNAS) or Proxmox with Ceph. For design and print, 1-gigabit with an SSD NAS is usually plenty. We measure your actual use cases and size accordingly.
FAQ.02How do we make remote work on large files viable?
Different solutions for different use cases. For design and print, Dropbox, Google Drive or OneDrive often works. For video and 3D the answer is either Parsec or NoMachine onto a fast workstation host in the office, or local sync with rsync. There is no universal solution.
FAQ.03Adobe licensing - can you manage that efficiently?
Yes. Adobe team licences through CSP, an automated assignment workflow, subscription changes centralised. We are not an Adobe reseller though, so you can buy direct if you prefer. Some agencies save money with Affinity or Figma.
FAQ.04What about client data and NDAs?
We build storage so that separation per client exists (dedicated Entra groups, dedicated OneDrive folder structures). For especially sensitive clients there are separate tenants or dedicated VMs per project.
FAQ.05Time tracking and project billing?
We advise on tools (Mite, Clockify, Harvest, Moco), set them up and integrate them via API - but the choice of tool is yours. What we add: automated custom reports and exports.
FAQ.06Our old Macs are slow. Refresh or repair?
Machines with 16 GB of RAM from 2018 are usually more economical to replace than to upgrade. We do the maths and put a proposal in front of you. Leasing is often worth considering for creative hardware.
