Honesty before market positioning
We have no branch office in Zurich. We have no sales representative driving across the country ahead of every meeting. What we have is a remote-first working model that also works for Swiss clients - and a clear sense of where its limits are.
Why we support Swiss clients anyway:
- Modern technology stacks (AI integration, open source, pragmatic cloud) are still thinly served in Switzerland - many Swiss providers are traditionally strong in Microsoft environments and less broad elsewhere
- Our prices are often more attractive than Swiss premium rates, at the same technical depth
- We bring experience from across the German-speaking region, which is useful for Swiss companies with German sites

What we cannot deliver
Physical presence day to day. We are not there when the cable is lying on the floor. For that there are local partners we can coordinate, or you work with a second Swiss provider alongside us.
Swiss employment law and local HR matters. That is HR expertise, not IT.
Deeply FINMA-regulated environments. For private banks and strictly regulated financial institutions you are better served by Swiss specialists. We can contribute parts, but not carry the main engagement.

FAQ.01We are in Switzerland. What argues against a local provider?
Nothing in principle. If you already work with a Swiss provider and are happy, stay with them. We become relevant if you want access to stack knowledge across the whole German-speaking region, a more open approach to open source, a cost comparison - and a transparent line between what works remotely and what does not.
FAQ.02revDSG and FINMA - do you know your way around?
With the revised Swiss data protection act, yes - we configure cloud setups (Microsoft 365, Nextcloud, our own services) accordingly. FINMA principles matter for financial service providers. Here we work with partners who are deep in the FINMA world and take on what we can implement technically.
FAQ.03Does data protection work without Swiss hosting?
It depends on the use case. Microsoft 365 with the Swiss tenant option is often permissible. For strict data sovereignty we build on Swiss hosts such as Infomaniak or Exoscale, or on-prem with you. We advise pragmatically, not dogmatically.
FAQ.04How do you handle currency and invoicing?
Invoices in CHF or EUR, as you prefer. Without Swiss VAT (as a foreign provider), with the corresponding note. German VAT does not apply to Swiss clients - we invoice net.
FAQ.05How often do you come to Switzerland?
Irregularly, driven by projects rather than on a fixed schedule. If a project needs a day on site we plan it in, with clear travel costs. Day to day is remote.
FAQ.06Do you already have Swiss clients?
Yes, a few. Mainly service and creative companies in Zurich. We pass on concrete references in the intro call.
FAQ.07Is Zermatt or Valais realistic to serve?
Yes, but with the same honesty as everywhere: day to day is remote. For particular situations in the winter season we have presence in Tyrol, which makes Valais reachable from there - we plan that case by case.
