The trades are one of our favourite sectors, because the work is so concrete. The boss works on the tools, the IT has to fit around that, and excuses like “that is just how digitalisation is” do not fly.
What we typically build
- Office IT with Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace, central file storage, shared storage between office and workshop
- ERP infrastructure for your trade software (pds, M-SOFT, Streit V.1, HWP, TopKontor) - often as terminal services or an RDP farm so field staff can reach it from any device
- Mobile devices with MDM - smartphones and rugged tablets that survive life in a service van
- Workshop Wi-Fi with industrial hardware and proper planning
- VPN for site PCs with WireGuard or Cloudflare Access
- Backup - including DATEV files, ERP data and photos from measurement documentation
- Telephony with mobile extensions (SIP on a smartphone, or a desk phone with mobile integration)

FAQ.01Which trade ERP systems do you support?
pds, M-SOFT, Streit V.1, HWP by Moser, TopKontor Handwerk. We run the infrastructure - software support stays with the vendor. On migration questions we can advise.
FAQ.02Do you offer mobile solutions for field staff?
Yes. Tablet or smartphone-based measurement capture, time tracking on site, photo documentation, offline-capable sync. The tool depends on the ERP - we build the infrastructure (MDM, VPN, sync server).
FAQ.03Our workshop has poor Wi-Fi. Is that not just normal?
No. Workshop Wi-Fi works, but it needs industrial access points (UniFi Mesh, Aruba Outdoor), not consumer gear. Metal and large halls genuinely are difficult - but they are plannable.
FAQ.04DATEV integration - can that actually run well?
Yes. DATEV cloud for smaller businesses, a local DATEV SQL server with terminal services for larger ones. We handle the infrastructure; the DATEV functionality comes from your tax advisor.
FAQ.05How does support work when we are on site?
Remotely via TeamViewer or AnyDesk, a phone hotline for calls from site, and when it really matters, on site in the Rhine-Main region. We know that trade work does not wait.
FAQ.06Roughly what does it cost?
For a trade business with 15 to 25 staff, budget 600 to 1,200 EUR a month as a flat rate plus one-off project costs at the start. We settle the exact figure in the intro call.
