So arbeiten wir in Tyrol.
What Tyrolean businesses come to us for
Hotel Wi-Fi that does not collapse at full occupancy. A full house with 200 guests easily means 400 to 600 concurrent Wi-Fi clients. Consumer hardware cannot handle that, and many local installations have grown organically and are overwhelmed. We plan and build enterprise Wi-Fi with UniFi or Aruba, measured and properly documented.
POS systems and peripherals. protel, Mews, Casablanca, Lightspeed, Vectron, or our own Badgertap for high-throughput hospitality. We handle the network, receipt printers, card terminals, TSE and RKSV compliance, and the integration interfaces into the PMS.
Seasonal staff with device management. Winter seasonal workers arrive in November and leave in April - and often the same people return the following winter. We build MDM setups that reflect that: time-limited accounts, company devices with auto-wipe at the end of the season, onboarding in under ten minutes per person.
Practices and law firms in Innsbruck with Austria-specific requirements - ELGA integration, the Austrian DSG, professional body obligations. We work alongside your ELGA regional provider and secure the rest of the IT.
Mountain railways and destination operators with complex networks between valley and summit stations, ticketing, lift control and public Wi-Fi.
Mid-sized trades and industry in the Inn valley, with the same requirements as the German mid-market plus the specifics of Austrian tax and registration law.
What we have already built there
We treat client references confidentially. Anonymised, we can share:
- Hotel in Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis: complete Wi-Fi replacement including the summit station link, integration into the existing PMS, seasonal staff management across 40 devices. Running for two seasons without a total outage.
- Law firm in Innsbruck: Microsoft 365 with Austria-specific data protection configuration, MFA, backup, beA preparation (where German clients are involved), clean document management.
- Hospitality group in Tyrol: Badgertap tills across several sites, central reporting, RKSV compliance, integration with Austrian FinanzOnline.
How we work in Tyrol
Remote is the standard, not a fallback. We work with modern remote access tools (TeamViewer Tensor, Splashtop, Cloudflare Zero Trust) and resolve around 90 percent of all tickets without travelling. That saves you time and money - most IT firms bill every kilometre.
On site when it makes sense. For new builds, larger hardware rollouts, annual reviews or strategy workshops we come to Tyrol. We bundle those trips - one visit per quarter, covering several clients at once. You pay a share of the travel, not the whole of it.
An emergency protocol for the season. Hotel clients in high season have prioritised SLAs with us: 30-minute remote response for Wi-Fi outages, till problems and PMS faults. Where hardware has to be replaced, we work with local electrical and service-technician partners and guide them through the swap remotely.
Our stack for typical Tyrolean requirements
- Hotel Wi-Fi: UniFi (smaller properties) or Aruba Instant On and Cisco (larger chains)
- POS systems: Badgertap (high-throughput hospitality), protel, Lightspeed
- MDM for seasonal staff: Microsoft Intune or Jamf
- Austria-compliant cloud: Microsoft 365 with the EU Data Boundary, Hetzner Finland, NCS Salzburg
- Monitoring: Uptime Kuma and Grafana, tuned for seasonal dynamics
- Backup: Veeam plus immutable storage in an Austrian or German data centre

Tyrol - frequently asked.
FAQ.01How fast do you respond in high season when hotel Wi-Fi dies in Fiss at 10am on a Saturday?
For hotel clients in season we hold a guaranteed 30-minute remote response. Most Wi-Fi outages are configuration or uplink issues, which we solve remotely. Where hardware has physically failed, we keep spare units on site with the client plus a list of local electrical partners we guide through the swap. No drive down from Germany.
FAQ.02Do you come to Tyrol in person?
Yes, regularly. We are in the region several times a year - for larger projects, annual reviews with existing clients, hardware rollouts and introductory meetings. Day to day we work remotely, which saves you the travel costs other IT firms would bill.
FAQ.03Do you know hotel-specific software such as protel, Mews or Casablanca?
We run the infrastructure around it - network, Wi-Fi, servers, workstations, POS integration, backup. Product support for protel, Mews or Casablanca stays with the vendor. When something fails we help establish whether it is software or infrastructure - the line is often invisible.
FAQ.04How does data protection and the Austrian DSG work with a provider based in Germany?
The company is registered in Germany (Neu-Isenburg, HRB 55085). Our service is set up to comply with both the GDPR and the Austrian DSG. For more sensitive deployments we explicitly build EU or Austrian hosting (Hetzner Finland, NCS Salzburg, or on-prem with you). We sign GDPR data processing agreements and confirm the Austrian DSG addendum in writing.
FAQ.05Can you support mountain railways and lift infrastructure?
We take on the IT layer - network, monitoring, workstations, ticketing integration, Wi-Fi at valley and summit stations. The lift control software and operational control technology stay with the specialist vendors (Doppelmayr, Leitner, Frey). We build the integration bridges and secure the operational networks from outside access.
FAQ.06Do you have references in the region?
Yes, though most are under confidentiality. In the intro call we pass on two or three concrete examples from Tyrol where the client has agreed to be contacted - so you can talk directly to people who were in a similar position.
FAQ.07Does your model cover seasonal staff?
Yes. We set up MDM policies so seasonal workers can use company devices with time-limited access. At the end of the season devices reset automatically and accounts are disabled. We do this often for hotels and hospitality businesses with 20 to 100 seasonal staff.
FAQ.08Roughly what does supporting a Tyrolean hotel cost?
For a four-star property with 80 to 150 rooms we budget a monthly flat rate of around 800 to 1,600 EUR (including monitoring, patching, remote support and backup). Plus one-off project work for refurbishment or modernisation. We settle the exact figure in the intro call.
